Some of the best AoE2 content ever. The classical-era is a great change of scenery and the new campaign choices let you play the way you want to more than ever before.
One of the best gaming experiences I´ve ever had. The campaign is difficult but not frustrating. Genuinely challenging even at normal difficulty. The story, narration, and voice acting are amazing and deserve an award. I just can't go back to regular campaigns, the new Last Chieftains campaign isn't half as fun as this.
Really enjoyed this! its basically Age of Empires 1.5 the soundtrack is AoE 1:DE with some new ones added. some interesting missions of various types. I liked the voice acting for the missions intros. animations are reminiscent of ancient articulated jointed paper puppets. new navel combat ship types are a nice addition. New civs are really cool both artistically and the way they play. The only things I didn't like
