If you like pirates, boats, canons, and liquor, this games for you
There is something about working with a crew in the middle of a chaotic naval battle that is just thrilling. Loading cannons, repairing leaks and yelling at my teammates made me feel fully immersed. Boarding enemy ships was intense and hilarious at the same time. Every battle is different and victories feel hard earned. I kept coming back because no match is ever the same.
This is about as baked as a tub of cookie dough. Supposedly a 1.0 release, but feels more like 0.1. Zero single player option besides the 5 minute tutorial. One server live with 6 people total when I joined. I paid 99 cents for this, but it was too much. Looks like it's free to play now, but even then, I wouldn't bother wasting the time to download, boot it up, get food poisoning from it being undercooked, and then
