Borderlands 3 is one of those games I would give a sideways thumb, and is very much the red headed step child of the core trilogy. Borderlands 1 was the oldest child, awkwardly leading by example through trial and failure, Borderlands 2 was really hitting its stride by sharpening the good stuff and cutting some of the fluff, but Borderlands 3 just doesn't quite hit the mark, at least not through the base game.

I haven't talked about 3 yet? Hoo boy. First off, I would play Borderlands 3 five times over before I touched another run of Borderlands 4. There's so much more that the formula got right in 3 than 4 in a lot of respects against the core gameplay system itself for loot shooter. I think, in quite a few ways, it was even better than 2. This did not, in any way, start like that when 3 released. It was years after the

what the hell is this story? what the hell is this ending? pros: gameplay is cool guns are cool tons of uniques the game looks nice cons: you can easily get stuck in terrain imo too many legendaries makes it feel less powerful/unique (I know I'm complaining about "too much lobster" here but w/e) but what in the lord's name is this story how why what. Who approved this? was that your doing Randy? uh? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WHY?
