User reviews
If Borderlands 2 was a 9/10, and Borderlands 3 was a 8/10, this was a 7/10 experience for me. Played on a 5070ti, so I didn't really too much graphical issues (120 FPS~, high setting), but I can tell the engine they made runs so much better in small zones compare open world area, as my fps was significantly better in the smaller subzones Positive: - Writing is much better overall. Main bad guy was better than 3,
as a long time BL-series witch over 1000h combined in all t he previous titles, this game is weird. It can be strangely satisfying with the fast paced combat and the visuals, yet it rarely feels like a borderlands game. It runs well enough and i dont have high end rig. The enemies are sometimes pretty hard to spot in all this visual clutter. The guns dont feel very good, they sound and feel like ur shooting wet
I was hoping this would be my "forever" game but instead, found that this game feels incredibly soul-less. The story is better than BL3 but feels like a step backward in every other aspect. Some of the worst performance I've experienced in any game. The open world feels empty and doesn't feel like it belongs in the Borderlands series.
