Borderlands The Pre-Sequel : Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2
- Borderlands The Pre-Sequel : Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2
A great DLC to a already great spinoff that unfortunately was incredibly under-rated. They did finish their obligation for the season pass, but its still weird. This has possibly the most unique environment and story besides Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and some of the BL3 dlcs. Its super disappointing we didn't get more DLC, since this DLC showed a lot of amazing potential that the game just didn't get to capitalize on.
This is the best DLC in the Borderlands series, its too bad they released it behind The Pre-Sequel. Replaying it 11 years later its still a 10/10
Given that I don't recommend the Pre-Sequel as a whole, I was surprised to find that the Claptastic Voyage provides some of the most interesting settings and unique area design in the series, accompanied by specific enemies to match. There's a new gun rarity that adds an interesting randomization to armaments called glitch, in which the guns will behave differently on the next reload, providing a shotgun spread,
Tedious :/ Was completely ignoring the plot by the end and just finishing for the sake of finishing.
You got a nice lookin’ mainframe
In classic Gearbox fashion, a pretty mid DLC. Still, better than 90% of the garbage they put out. I like the environment.
This dlc ALMOST saved the game from being trash. It had the only interesting settings and story in the pre-sequel. The glitch mechanic was the only new aspect that was actually good. And if I had written this before finishing, it would have been positive. Well, more accurately before reaching the end. Because I'm ragequitting, and not going back. All my good will is completely erased by the final boss battle. It's
this DLC has great backstory, the drops in this game overall are absolutely horrendous though. I played with my friend and we didnt have a single legendary item until we completely beat the whole base game and this DLC. We played tvhm up until the jump pad guy (Deadlift) and we still aren't getting drops. uninstalled.
