I played Symphony of the Night on the Playstation, and it is one of my all time favorite games. Chronicles of the Wolf has been the only game that has came close to giving me that same feeling (once I got to the castle). The movement speed isn't as bad it appears. The controls aren't perfect, but never got in the way of progressing or caused frustration for me. Overall, just an excellent game especially at its price

Pretty good, feels like a lost DS Castlevania. Almost like Castlevania IV crossed with Order of Ecclesia. I attempted something like a Purist run (basic equipment and heal spell only) but abandoned it because it became quite unfun in the second half of the game. Purist works surprisingly well except maybe three enemies and one boss. I dislike most projectiles as they are hard to read and some enemies like slimes are
