User reviews
Much like the reviews at time of writing, my feelings about this DLC are... mixed. On the one hand, for the stuff you're most likely to notice and pay attention to, it's great. Lots of new things to do, a bunch of new systems (including a Hegemony tier above Empire for titles), and an approach to both Japan and China that actually do a decent job of representing something the Crusader Kings format was never designed
The amount of bad reviews makes me want to weigh in. This has been the best time I've had with the game since the initial release hype. I get why there are negative reviews for this. It's doesn't fix the flaws of the main game. What you dislike about CK3, you will still dislike in East Asia. If you want to paint the map, it's not gonna make it fun for you. It's just gonna add some tedium to the process, without
Major bug breaks the end game. I am Merit Rank 1 and Candidate Rank 1 for the military career path. The grand marshal dies and I have continuously been passed up for the spot. Can't progress any further. Totally makes everything I worked for in that characters life useless.
