Visuals were stepped up, but the game was left behind. [h1]Main Additions[/h1] The big selling point of the DLC is the new bosses added in the additional Inkwell Isle IV. Unfortunately, these bosses show that the devs leaned into the wrong aspects of the base game's excellent bosses. While yes, the new animations are an upgrade. Most of the new bosses have some issue with visual clutter (e.g. High-Noon Hoopla)
[i]Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course[/i] is a fantastic DLC. It not only adds more stuff, but improves the game retroactively. Most significant, is the adddition of a new playable character with an expanded but differing moveset. The new levels are all fantastic from every angle. All of them stand out in their uniqueness, though some i found surprisingly easy. Not exactly a stroll in the park, but it came as a
Just more Cuphead. If you like the original game, you will like this one too. Also some of the bosses designs are more interesting and varied than all of them from the original game. And I didn't know that it was possible, but the art side became better too. Final boss here is just a sight to behold and visually his stages are the most interesting out of all of them. 10/10, top-notch DLC, so buy for the full price,
