User reviews
pretty good DLC. i thought it was as good as the main game. the bosses were really tough (the optional one especially i found tough). my only complaint is
sister friede's 3 separate healthbars...
But overall, it's a fun area to fight through, and I always enjoy a good snowy area in video games.
Ashes of Ariendel is smaller in scale than The Ringed City, but does exactly what it sets out to do, with a concise explorable area in a beautiful new environment, and my personal favorite boss fight that From Software has ever put out awaiting you as the final encounter of this masterfully crafted expansion.
Short DLC but an ending to a beautiful series, the vibe was nice, the story was nice, and Sister Friede... well she's a one of a kind, she was annoying because *spoiler* you needed to beat her first 2 phases, one kinda annoying one and one boring and tanky one, just to get a glimpse at her 3rd stage is just her 1st stage but on steroids. This game/dlc will get 10 years old in a few months and it pisses on these new
