Dead Island 2 kept pulling me back in for one more area, one more weapon, one more stupid fight that got way more chaotic than I planned. The story isn't great and some side quests blur together, but I stopped caring once the combat really clicked. This is what happens when you keep giving junkies fent. I find it hilarious that a game called dead island doesn't take a place on an island anymore, unless California decided to split from rest of the US. The game is really similar to its predecessor, for better or worse. I'm not going into too much detail in this review, I'm just going to pinpoint a few things. I was really hyped when I saw the trailer of this game, then totally forgot about it. I happened to see it on steam with a good sale and decided hell yeah why not, I love Dying Light series so this game will go hard too. It did not go as hard as I thought but was not a complete failure either. I would definitely recommend this game if you want to do aimlessly slaughter zombies with good graphics and effects like
