This game gets more hate than it deserve, it's actually great. Made by Arkane, the same studio behind Dishonored and Prey, it has a great story and setting, and the gameplay has similar mecahnics to the other titles. This review is purely for the single player story, not the online part. In Deathloop you cannot save and are forced to complete each section in one go, which is something most negative reviews complains
a$$ game
It's a decent game, kind of like if Dishonored took place on the island from Lost. I'd recommend it on a good discount for sure. There's an interesting mystery going on, and the gameplay is fun enough to take the edge off of some of the repetitive aspects. There are enough powers, weapons, and trinkets to support a variety of playstyles, and the gunplay usually feels pretty solid. I did find the ending to be a bit
Why would they make a single player game as an extraction shooter......every time I try this game I want to like it, but the devs are stupid for designing the game like this.
I really enjoy this game, if you are a fan of the other Arkane games I think you will too. I see a lot of reviews stating that the game is unoptimized, in my personal experience I can't say that I have seen any issues. Maybe I'm just incredibly lucky, but the game has run flawlessly for me on my 3070 laptop GPU. If you are discouraged by the time loop reset at first, just give the game a few hours to fully explain
Bro is been 5 years and this game still force me to star the game online because of the DRM.
Not ok with no saves, have to start completely over if you die 3 times. Too much of a pain. Not fun.
♥♥♥♥ Denuvo, and ♥♥♥♥ the publisher for forcing it on.
