Great game. Very underrated.
great strategy game. simple yet deep and offer alot of customisation. Maybe they should make campaign more engaging, like a multipe story branch story. And maybe in the long run, in galatic civ6, have controled tactical battle.
Disappointed seeing AI generated portraits, I can only imagine the implementation is more extensive but I'm refunding before I find out.
The game mechanics are put together well but even on Beginner Level, the amount of options was overwhelming and made me lose interest. It felt like there was TOO much that I had to accomplish in order to progress and the storyline did not grab my attention. For a turn-base D&D style game, it was interesting but it's not one that I would continue to play.

I only play multiplayer, and this game is hamstringed for multiplayer. 3 is a better game. If single player is your jam, skip this review. The multiplayer maps are limited to very small maps (small, medium, binary sectors) in a game whose selling point to me was that there would be huge map with a bunch of sectors to explore and exploit. I figured this would give me a couple battle phases where in 3 I only really
So easy to lose hours into this game. The ship customization is a surprisingly detailed for this kind of game. The tutorial having voice acting helps get you though the game more complex mechanics.
