Well, first, I did play the game in the past but couldn't remember why I never finished it. Since I had a bit of an itch for a loot ARPG, I thought, let's give it a try again. I must say the balancing is completely off. The enemy health increases faster than you can keep up, which makes fights get longer and longer if you don't find the best weapon for your level. On that, the enemies have overall too much health.
It's classic example of cheap Double A games that you could buy for pennies in "bins" or "magazines". Especially for HnS boom. On the one hand it's cheap, simple and don't overstay it's welcome unlike other Diablo clones. On the other, items, biomes and enemies selection is underwhelming. But for biggest problem is that game is boring. About 8h of doing the same pew pew all the time with short break for the bosses.
Never got really used to those controls. So already the first boss fight was impossible.
I enjoyed 'Greed: Black Border' for its classic isometric RPG elements, but the game has some significant issues. The boss fights were particularly difficult, which took away from the fun. The real deal breaker, though, was the game crashing with a script error right after I defeated the final boss.
