This is a standard resource-gathering game from Alawar Entertainment. If you've played 'Viking Brothers' or 'Railway Couple' or any others, it's the usual mix of having your minions repairing roads and setting up buildings. 'Hermes' brings nothing new to the formula, however it knows it's a time-management puzzle game and so I'll give it a single thumbs up for working as intended. You can play it on casual mode

User reviews
Love the fact that you can easily obtain the achievements by playing the game in relaxed mode - most if the games from this category force you to play with time limits and then you need to replay same levels until it becomes boring.
For the most part it's a typical "time management" game. It does have a bit of an upgrade system. And, you can replay levels to get under par times, and win more more stars. The gameplay is less clunkey than the Dracula games, also by Alawar. Though it still lacks the quality of life improvement of being able to queue up tasks that aren't yet available, such as is seen in the Hercules games. 100%ing the achievements
