Description
Heroes of Hammerwatch is a rogue-lite action-adventure game set in the same universe as Hammerwatch. Encounter endless hordes of enemies, traps, puzzles, secrets and lots of loot, as you battle your way through procedurally generated levels to reach the top of the Forsaken Spire.
A rogue-lite with a lot of persistent progression. You will start each run in Outlook, a town which you can upgrade to grant your heroes with various enhancements that will further help you in your quest. The heroes themselves will also remain persistent, you can even bring your own heroes to your friends game!

While game is fun, the problem is the gameplay loop. You are constantly supposed to farm the same 2 materials over all levels of the game. Killing enemies does nothing, so you just march forward attacking the air ignoring everything. With the same character, with the same 4 skills, with basically no progression other than +5% damage every now and then. The roguelike components are basically items that give you

Fun little rogue dungeon crawler, been playing through it 2 player with a friend and we've had a good laugh. Getting stronger and more effective each time we hit the dungeons.
