I would really like to recommend this game. The original is a fantastic game and the remaster is great in many ways except for one critical issue that is very distracting: LOD pop-in near the player. This issue has persisted through all of the patches and is completely unaffected by graphical settings. For a game where moving through natural areas is 95% of the game it's incredibly distracting to see constant assets

As a huge fan of HZD it is bitterly disappointing to post a negative review for the remastered version. But it really comes a across as nothing more than a pointless cash grab. There is no RT support, and texture and LOD pop in is wildly distracting on maximum graphics settings (the developers even tried to argue it wasn't possible to fix, like seriously?). It's a challlenge to overcome the smearing and shimmering
