It is in no way, shape or function a "bad" game. It's just not. The art style carries this game. That said, it's very short, the levels are easy to memorize, and the gun catalogue is small. Overall, the game scores a personal 6/10. It does what it advertises, leaves you wanting something more. Where many games are "ok," this game floats around surface level of "ok."

Kingdom of the Dead is a charming and very fun game. Reminds of an old gem I used to play called Death Illustrated, which was also a monochromatic FPS. There's a major flaw which is that the UI isn't the best, and it's a bit unclear how to do anything. It seems like there was an attempt at innovation or laziness. Unknowingly, I entered survival mode before realising there even was a campaign with a difficulty
I loved it; the level design is great
