Turn out this game not even finished yet. The story not as great as previous series.
Very disappointing, lost the King's Bounty feeling. Feels like a bad copy of Skyrim/Witcher.
The gameplay loop is satisfying, even if unpolished. The story is garbage - technically unfinished, not that it was really making much sesne to begin with. Replayability is kind of there. you have 3 different characters, 4 different "builds" and 2 sets of "2" choices (you either pick order or anarchy, AND/OR, power or finesse, and you have units to match each choice, but you can mix and match). But the combat
So i normally write positive reviews and if i don't like a game i just set it aside, however there are certain games the require proper reviewing. If you played any of the previous kings bounty games this will be a monumental disappointment. It's nice to see changes to a game series, but as we as gamers tend to see commonly lazy changes or fundamental changes tend to make a game not fun. The controls from the
To be honest, despite the clunky movements, visual bugs and glitches and balances issues and weird talent system, I had fun. Yeah, it has its flaws and this is far different game than the original series and feels inferior in some aspects compared to the original, but still I liked the atmosphere and the soundtrack. The voice acting and the graphics are good enough for an indie company. It gave me AC Odyssey
it wasn´t that bad as people are saying, it lacked the troop scaling, like here u can have only 10 units max late game? in previous kings bounty i had 30+ from start, this game felt like early game location the whole game and the final boss was way too easy aswell (especially when u use magic). but the most anoying thing for me was why is it walking simulator,if i could run it the cities and areas the game would be
tldr; this game is actually, literally unfinished. It sucks otherwise. I'm a bit of a fan of the King's Bounty series. The games are extremely long, extremely heavy in strategy and you will inevitably field thousands upon thousands of spitting plants for economic reasons. You will get colored gems to upgrade your hero and come across a lot of valuable equipment that can drastically alter your schemes. You'll be
Honestly, this game is fantastic. I have no idea why others don't seem to enjoy it. I really wish they would do more games exactly like this; it just scratches that itch for me. I will say that this game is 100% a low-budget game and does come with a few quirks, but on the whole, I have been really enjoying playing through it. So all in all, I would recommend this game to people who like turn-based combat!
