Unfortunately, this is not the Metroidvania for me. I would prefer more like Touhou: Luna Nights. Though if you like a Castlevania a lot this may be great. Glad I got this on sale.
WTF WAS THIS GAME LMAO?! Look I don't wanna be negative but this game isn't that amazing. i know how castlevania games go but this was kind of whatever - The controls are too floaty making you lock between flying when you just want to jump multiple times - Buncha stuff coming at you. I know this is coming from a franchise that's focuses on danmaku but i can't freaking move because there's too many enemies on the
Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony, developed by Frontier Aja in collaboration with CFK Co., Ltd. and published by CFK Co., Ltd., feels like a carefully preserved time capsule—an updated, polished revival of a beloved Touhou fangame that originally built its reputation on the unexpected merging of bullet hell sensibilities with gothic action-platforming. Plays like classic Castlevania, for good and ill. This means linear, arcade style levels and limited lives. Dying starts you at the beginning of the room, losing all your lives restarts the level entirely. This generally isn't an issue for me except for the fact the game had bullet hell features much like you'd expect for a Touhou game. The reason that can be an issue is the controls feel a bit stiff at times.
I bought this game not knowing it was a Touhou game, so the bullet hell aspects (Even if they're not as bad as they really are) made this game way harder for me than it needed to be. That being said, everything else about it is fine. The fighting and movement is good, if the controls are kinda funky, the level design is basic but passable, but the music kicks ass. On sale, it'd say it's worth it. But if you don't
love how the game throws the hardest boss at you first.
Game isn't worth its price. As remaster, it totally sucks: just improved graphics and added some sounds, music and other small details. I remember, at one time, original game was free, and for such bad remaster, they set such a huge price... Game itself is also not so good, even for its genre: - Too short (you need about 1 hour to full complete the game on normal); - Terrible controls; - Problems with hitboxes; - No
It's an okay game suggest to buy with discount Wait a minute Aoi yuki as cirno!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
