User reviews
Before everything was available online, some games were made with the express purpose of selling guides, magazines, or driving sales to phone tip lines. No game better embodies this strategy than Legend of Mana. This game is essentially unusable without a guide, and not just because of surface-level issues like convoluted dialogue decisions (à la Persona) or necessary boss tricks. Everything you do affects something
Besides the game being wonderful and got to admit sort of healing you in a way, I could also use the music mode as a background music for doing other things while my computer is on. Really nice :)
While I enjoyed the art style, this game did not at all feel worth the price. The plots seemed a bit convoluted, the quests were often confusing and the ending was anticlimactic. If you aren't playing this for nostalgia's sake as someone who played it back in the day, I'd recommend a different JRPG.
