Far from perfect but it feels like this is what Dark Souls 2 was trying to achieve. Create your own bonfire, swapping between dimensions, gank fights everywhere, frustrating as ♥♥♥♥ runbacks. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I'm keen to see the sequel.
pretty good game nowadays i didnt play the old version but apparently it was absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but i can recommend it now, just under 100 hours for all achievements. only bad thing is the enemy variety, and the randomizer modifier is not true randomizer since for example big enemies will still be big enemies and dogs will be just different dogs. level design is amazing so the no vestiges playthrough is not bad at
I dont EVER write reviews but damn this game is horrible. explain to me after ALL THE YEARS the game have been out, they still cant figure out how to stop you from falling through the map when playing, when fighting and EVEN in BOSS FIGHTS. lost so much gameplay progress from that and dont even start on COOP, that is not even close to coop, no shared progression, the joined player cant and does not unlock anything
