game is good!
Very cute little platformer with a charming art style and music. I didn't fully vibe with the controls (they felt a bit floaty, especially when you boost, which might be intended though) and sometimes it can be difficult to fully make out where your position is exactly. Nonetheless a perfectly short and sweet time!
I played this game on Xbox and on PC, I only just bought it on steam. I have tons of hours even if it doesn't show on this account. I love this game!
The characters are cute and it is a charming game, but the fact that you are always underground makes it hard to tell where your hitbox is, and you can get hit with flying projectiles that really look like they should've missed you. On top of that, the jump feels pretty awkward. It's not unplayable, it works just fine, but it just feels awkward. The regular jump is pretty ineffective and the higher jump requires you
It's a perfectly fine, little platformer in the vein of Mario 3d World. However it is no 3D World. It's got a few issues, but it's not bad. Its a middle of the road PS2 game that you'd find in the bargain bin and give a chance as a child and enjoy way more than you were expecting. Wait for a sale too pick it up if you're really interested.
This didn't really work for me. It's a good idea and the level design is decent enough but the controls are the main problem. I found them to be sluggish as hell and judging exactly where you are is difficult because the character is underground! There's definitely something to build on if they ever chose to do a sequel but I became frustrated quite quickly with this.
There is a lot of charm, but also a lot of jank. The game for example tells me about the DLC I have every time I start the game. In terms of assets you have some great, a lot of ok, and some really low quality assets. I hate the font used for the menus. Sometimes it feels like a slog when I'm stuck in different cut scenes or waiting for popups. Especially since they often don't look that great. Overall I do
I don't know what I was expecting with a game about a mole, but being underground at all times unless you jump makes the game a bit awkward to control at times. I wish there was a dedicated button for the jump rush since the timing is a bit rough with the regular dash button, especially if you decide to go for gold medals or do the harder races. Some of the levels that races are on also don't really seemed to be
