One of the worst grand strategies I've ever had the misfortune of playing. You need to experience all nine layers of Dante's Inferno, yourself to truly comprehend what I mean. All nine layers, being this game.

While the game could use a lot more polish (you can't load a save without exiting and relaunching the game client, wtf?) and suffers some technical issues ("Out of Memory" crash etc...), it has the intermediate level of complexity in empire management and the stress-free turn based nature that I'm looking for. A good middle ground between the simplicity of (new) Total War titles, and the "spreadsheet simulator"
I'd consider leaving a neutral review if I could. The games has some amazing pros, but is held back across the board by the cons and isn't worth $30 at this point in time. The game's premise is very good. However, as others have complained about weird AI, trading, politics, and incredibly tedious empire management hold it back.
