The added assets are great but the missions are abysmal - avoid them at all costs. - maps are small and linear, upsetting much of the weapon balance and usefulness - enemy spawns are cheesy with enemies visibly popping into existence to stage forced ambushes - missions launch back to back so fast that mechs can't be repaired and pilots can't heal making it necessary to hire new pilots and buy new mechs, all while
The campaign missions were a miserable experience. This DLC continues the trend of back-to-back missions without giving you enough time to repair your mechs or allow your pilots to heal. On top of that, the levels are tight corridors that don’t work well for a lance of four mechs, especially with the dozens of opponents packed into each location. Enemies also spawn directly in front of you without sensor warnings,

Any day a local revolutionary movement begs for my child army is a good day for that means we are in business for at least a few more days with the billions they pay me (im a gambling addict)
The campaign is a slog with an uninteresting plot. I read other reviews that said they enjoyed the difficulty of it, but in my opinion, it only stems from a lack of repair time, not well-designed missions. Great game, but this DLC is mediocre at best. The Legend of the Kestrel Lancers DLC has a great a story, buy it instead unless you get a deal.
Even if you win thousands of battles, you have zero effect on the outcome of wars: BORING AND LAZY, DESU
Rival Mercenary Companies -There are 18 different mercenary companies that will move around the map. You're given a long term mission to gather intel on them. Defeating each in battle will provide increasing rewards. -If you take a contract in a rival's zone they sometimes appear unexpectedly during the mission. They will either attack you or work with you. It's usually pretty easy to escape the ambush if you feel
Didn't really enjoy this campaign. As some have mentioned, scaling and level design felt awful. Forces you down hallways with enemies that spawn right on top of you instead of actually being in the level. Also, what do they have against letting you repair? Overall, really frustrating and you pretty much have to resort to save scum / cheese tactics to walk out of it with your sanity.
