Saw this game was on sale I've always liked the concept and I enjoyed watching people actively playing the game in video's on Youtube. So I picked the deluxe and the arsenal DLC's figuring I would have some fun with it for what it is. I am well aware the devs abandoned this game and it's not receiving active development despite releasing in 2023. That's not what caused me to refund this game and give it a negative
The developers have abandoned this game. I tried to come back after a long absence from the game and no longer understand what's going on in the game. I asked them to reset my profile so I can start fresh and understand the game again, as I've seen others request and had fulfilled. They denied me and gave no reason for it. This game has changed so much since launch I don't understand it anymore. Its no longer fun to
the best part is you get to design levels to your imagination. want to make a throwback to old school shooters? want an arena with laser traps? real cool concept. Also you're not required to buy all the DLC, you can unlock all of it by just playing. worth it in my view for the 20 bucks they're asking for on steam.
I like the creative aspect of the game. Building your levels and letting other players play them. I also like exploring what others have built. But I don't like playing the game as such. It is too slow, combat isn't varied enough. There are basically only 3 types of weapons, one of which is a personal shield that I can't really figure out. I would love that game if it had the variety and speed of an arena shooter.
Its a real shame what happened to this game, because it showed so much promise! I played the hell out of it on launch and it was a lot of fun... but Behaviour cut support and basically killed the game in around 1-2 years, so its just abandoned.
This is a cool game that I mostly enjoyed my time with. Many of its mechanics are poorly explained and basically inscrutable, but the core gameplay of dungeon delving (and building) is fairly satisfying. I don't recommend others buy this for two major reasons: 1. A large aspect of the progression requires other players to raid (and die in) your custom outposts and, with about four people playing this currently,
Game plays great and the community is awesome. The map designs can be unbelievably different and creative!! I'm sill encountering new designs that blow me away. There are clearly lots of great builders, the game just needs more Raiders. But as it stands now it feels VERY living and breathing!! Check it out!!!!
Repetetive Gameplay, but THE LORE AND THE GRAOHIC DESIGN~! MMMMM, Prego~ <3
