I find the Conquest mode is actually and arguably more challenging than GoH. The Campaigns have stories to follow instead of generic skirmishes. I have to say that he game however often feels as if it wasnt playtested properly (which is weird since we've been waiting on it since 2018). PvP can be unforgiving but in the end i'd consider it an upgrade compared to previous titles in the Men of War series

The game is a huge downgrade from Men of War Assault Squad 2. They removed the skirmish vs AI modes. You cannot fight to capture flags, or spawn units to fight with friends. They primarily focused on PVP combat amongst players which ruined the franchise.
So bad i just lost my time all the time conction lost all the time disconnect just lost time and money!!!!!If you wanna play waiting more than 30 mins lol!!!

It's been out for nearly 2 years, and I'd say it is far worth the price. Certain mechanics could be tweaked, and some UI elements could be improved on, but largely it has a lot of potential if more factions, more vehicles, and more maps are added. I'm not immediately a huge fan of fielding certain types of artillery, 6" and 8" weren't "field guns" they were battalion or regimental level artillery. they would have
